Humanists believe in the importance of individual responsibility and social cooperation;that people can and will together find solutions to the world's problems so that quality of life can be improved for everyone.
As part of this active participation in wider society we are raising money for a number of charities.
We fundraise for the Uganda Humanist
Schools Trust (UK), established in November 2008 as a charity to support the
efforts of Ugandan Humanists, who have founded three schools which offer
students the alternative of liberal secular-humanist education. More

Practical Action is a charity registered in the United Kingdom working directly with poor communities in Latin America, East Africa, Southern Africa and South Asia. It works with them to develop appropriate technologies in food production, agroprocessing, energy, transport, small enterprise development, shelter and disaster mitigation. Find out more
