Our main discussion meetings are free and on the last Monday of the month. They're mostly, but not always, at the Old Ship Pub (upstairs), King Street, Richmond.Even if you're only vaguely interested in Humanism, you're welcome to come and discover more.

No. South West London Humanist Group is an independent organisation affiliated to the British Humanist Association. You don't have to be a BHA member to attend our meetings, and the two organisations have separate memberships.
We don't push SWLH (or BHA) membership: anyone who's a humanist, or thinks they might be, is welcome to our meetings and events. But if you attend regularly, then it would be appreciated if you could join to help keep our finances in shape. It's very cheap to join us and members get discounts on the Summer party, the party at Christmas, and a vote at the AGM. Download our membership form here:
We also recommend joining the BHA, which is the national charity working on behalf of ethically concerned, non-religious people in the UK. It's the largest organisation in the UK campaigning for an end to religious privilege and to discrimination based on religion or belief, and for a secular state.
