The South West London Humanist Group was launched in January 2007 as an affiliate of the British Humanist Association.

We normally meet at 8pm on the last Monday of each month(including Bank Holidays) in the upstairs room of The Old Ship, King Street, Richmond (people start arriving at around 7.30). Meetings are open to anyone who shares our views, or thinks they may actually be a Humanist but wants to explore further.

Please contact us on info@swlhumanists.org.uk, or call 020 8892 5077 if you would like to find out more.

Alternatively, please join our our Meetup Group to subscribe to information about our events.

We share the vision of the British Humanist Association for “a world without religious privilege or discrimination, where people are free to live good lives on the basis of reason, experience and shared human values”.

We aim to:

1) Provide a means for like-minded individuals in South West London to meet and have a forum for the discussion of humanist values, principles and relevant subjects

2) Raise local awareness of humanist perspectives

3) Campaigning locally for respect for those who seek to live ethical and responsible lives without religious or superstitious beliefs, and against religious privilege

4) Undertaking appropriate charitable activities

5) Doing so in a way that is welcoming, tolerant and enjoyable
